Presenting at Southern Utah Unix User Group (SU3G)

Hi all,
I’d like to make a quick mention of this in case you missed my presentation at UTOSC. I’ll be doing a similar presentation entitled “What is Utah Open Source?”, tonight at 7pm at the Southern Utah Unix User Group (SU3G). In addition, I’ll be providing a tutorial on how to setup VSFTPD if there is time.
I’m sure many of you in Utah, Davis, Weber or Salt Lake Counties might think, “heh, I can’t make it!”. Well that might be true of the past meetings for User Groups. From now on, Utah Open Source will be working to provide live streaming to any User Group that would like to share their meetings.
Currently, we’re in a testing mode, but you’re welcome to listen live tonight at 7pm. There will be a link provided at http://herlo.org:8081 which can be streamed to your favorite media player that supports ogg/vorbis. I use rhythmbox for this, but I know many other players support these live streams as well.
In addition, join the #utos channel on irc.freenode.net if you’d like to ask questions. Someone will be in irc relaying any questions. If you aren’t familiar with irc or how to connect, here’s an easy tutorial.
Now there is no excuse to miss this meeting. If you want to listen, set aside the time, or play the ogg later as it will be available on this site shortly after the presentation. See you all at 7pm tonight!
Cheers,
Clint Savage
